. I am originally from California but I also lived in Texas, Europe and North Carolina. Inspired by travel and life experience I began to explore painting.  My interest in sculptural ceramics became evident while I attended the California College of the Arts.  I graduated from there in 1997.  While there I was fortunate enough to study with Viola Frey, Arthur Gonzalez, Raymond Saunders and Michael McClure. Their influence and the help of many other amazing people have allowed me to work and develop for more than 20 years.
